Third and Adams streets, Hillsboro

Jerry Don Jost, 76, 108 S. Washington St., Hillsboro; struck a parked vehicle owned by Kristi L. Lackey at 3:50 p.m. July 7 near Third and Adams St. No injuries were reported. Both vehicles had to be towed.

Deer strikes

Joyce E. Ashley, 62, of Goessel, struck a deer at 12:50 p.m. July 5 on Indigo Road south of 160th Road. She was driving her 2007 Mercury sedan.

Matthew McKenna, 33, of Wichita killed a deer at 9:45 p.m. July 6 on K-15 south of U.S. 56. He was riding his 2010 Honda motorcycle.
