2300 block of 340th Road

Barbara Chally, 75, 828 Purvis Road, Sunrise Beach, Mo., was driving westbound on 340th when she lost control of her vehicle, overcorrected, and ended up in the north ditch at 11:53 p.m. Aug. 18. She was transported to Herington Hospital by Marion County Emergency Medical Services by 12:50 a.m. Chally was driving her 1995 Dodge van.

Timber road south of 50th Road

Robert Berns, 29, B-14 Bashford Avenue, Union, N.J. , struck a deer driving south on Timber Road at 11 a.m. Aug. 18. Berns was driving a 2006 Toyota passenger car registered to Jeffery Berns, 7 Doering Way, Cranford, N.J.

100 block of U.S. 56

Dayton Morris, 33, 814 Cottonwood St., Emporia, ran over an unknown object while driving in the 100 block of U.S. 56 at 12:30 a.m. Aug. 11. Morris was driving his 2010 Nissan passenger car.

Donita Ryff, 54, 1737 360th Road, Ramona, struck a deer driving south on Pawnee Road at 9: 50 p.m. Aug. 11. Ryff was driving her 2006 Pontiac passenger car.

Charlene Lawrence, 49, 2356 E. Seventh St., Florence, struck a deer driving south on U.S. 77 at 9 p.m. Aug. 9. Lawrence was driving her 2005 Dodge passenger car.

U.S. 77 south of U.S. 50

Melissa Ledford, 47, 301 S. Thorp St., Marion, struck a deer driving north on U.S. 77 at 11 p.m. Aug. 2. Ledford was driving her 2010 Nissan passenger car.

1800 block of U.S. 56

Darrel Colaw, 45, 1316 Pioneer Road, McPherson, struck a deer driving west on U.S. 56 at 9:40 p.m. Aug. 15. Colaw was driving his 2006 Ford passenger car.

3400 block of U.S. 77

Samantha Satterlee, 19, 5590-1 AP Hill Drive, Fort Riley, swerved to avoid a deer, crossed the centerline, entered the west ditch, and crossed back over the road and stopped in the east ditch at 2:30 a.m. Aug. 16. She was driving a 2006 Chevrolet passenger car registered to Renee Satterlee.
