According to law enforcement reports released Saturday:

Hillsboro

500 Block of Stadium Dr.

A tail light of a parked 2011 Ford Edge owned by Julie Janzen was damaged by the bed of 1990 GMC Sierra pickup (owned by Wiley Simhiser Jr.) driven by Nathan Simhiser, 17, of Lehigh, when the vehicles collided as Simhiser pulled into a parking stall at 5:26 p.m. Sept. 10 in the 500 Block of Stadium Dr., police said. The GMC also had minor paint scuffs on the side of its pickup bed.

Marion county

290th Rd. west of Vista Rd.

Hayleigh Mendoza, 15, Lincolnville, was driving a 1973 Chevrolet C10 owned by passenger Shelley Kaiser, of the same address, eastbound on 290th Rd. at 8:50 p.m. Sept. 9 when she lost control and went into the south ditch, turning the vehicle onto its left side. A barbed wire fence, owned by Steven Svoboda, was reported as damaged.

K-15 at 150th Rd.

A 1962 Case FE, driven by Lonnie Schmidt, 71, Hillsboro, was eastbound on 150th Rd. at 8:46 p.m. Sept. 4 when he came to the K-15 intersection and started to cross. A 1992 Honda Accord, driven by Parker Wedel, 22, Buhler, was unable to avoid hitting Lonnie Schmidt’s vehicle police reported. Wedel was transported to Newton Medical Center by Hillsboro EMS, and his vehicle was towed from the scene.

Sunflower Rd. north of 90th Rd.

Julie Scheiderman, 50, Marion, was driving her 2011 Chevy Malibu southbound on Sunflower Rd. with her passenger, Levi Anderson, 26, Marion, when she hit a deer at 8:16 a.m. Sept. 10.

US-50 Rd. East of Yarrow Rd.

A 2006 Dodge Dakota, driven by Steven Swift, 62, Wellsville, was westbound on US-50 when a deer jumped up from the ditch, striking the vehicle on the driver’s side front corner and door at 10 a.m. Sept. 5. The vehicle was driven from the scene.
