Mitzi Weidner, 56, Hutchinson, struck a deer with her 2013 GMC Terrain at 8:20 p.m. Sept. 10. The deer was killed, and the car was towed.
US-56 east of Goldenrod Rd.
Alex Brooks, 29, McPherson, struck a deer with his 2009 Pontiac G5 at 5:11 a.m. Sept. 8. The car was towed.
US-56 east of Kanza Rd.
Peter Marmer, 18, Colorado Springs, was driving a 2013 Nissan Juke owned by Ellen Emerich of Colorado Springs at 8 a.m. Sept. 8 when the went off the road and struck a culvert at 8 a.m. Sept. 8. Marmer was not injured, but the vehicle was towed.
Limestone Rd. north of 360th Rd.
Adam Adkins, 21, Hope, was driving north in a 2007 Ford F-150 owned by Harvey Walker of Hope when he reportedly lost control of the vehicle at 5:40 p.m. Aug. 26. The truck slid sideways and went into the west ditch, where it rolled and came to rest in a field. Deputy Michael Ottensmeier reported that Adkins had possible minor injuries but was not taken to a hospital. Ottensmeier issued a citation for driving under the influence of alcohol. The truck was destroyed.

Steve Pitts, 32, Newton, struck a raccoon with his 2016 Ford Focus at 2:10 a.m. Sept. 8. The car was towed.
