These accident reports were released this past week by law enforcement agencies:

SHERIFF

US-77 south of 250th Rd.

A 2011 Ford F-550 pickup driven by James H. Simmons, 51, Herington, hit a cow at 8:30 p.m. Oct. 10. The pickup was towed.

Indigo Rd. north of 150th Rd.

Christopher K. Oliver, 20, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, was possibly injured at 2:10 a.m. Oct. 6 when he was driving a 2006 Toyota Coaster owned by Rhonda Oliver, Oklahoma City, through fog and fell asleep at the wheel. The Toyota went into the west ditch. Oliver overcorrected, crossed the roadway and struck the ditch on the east side. The Toyota overturned, coming to rest on its right side. The Toyota was towed.

US-56 north of 240th Rd.

Jesse J. Dixon, 34, St. George, swerved to avoid several deer at 9:46 p.m. Oct. 9 while driving his 2020 Jayco Seneca motor home and overcorrected. The Jayco overturned. The motor home was towed.

Falcon Rd. north of 100th Rd.

Rosemary K. Reimer, 65, Newton, hit a deer with her 2016 Toyota Prius at 7:30 a.m. Oct. 13.

Sunflower Rd. north of 160th Rd.

Christopher L. Cox 34, Marion, hit a deer at 8:20 a.m. Oct. 13 with a 2013 GMC Sierra owned by Brendan J. Kraus, Marion.

US-56 east of Old Mill Rd.

Daniel E. Miller, 52, Marlow, New Hampshire, hit a deer at 6:19 a.m. Oct. 14 with a 2016 Western Star semi owned by Bateman Horse Vans, Windsor, Vermont. Neither Miller nor his passenger, Allegra Miller, 50, Marlow, New Hampshire, reported injury.

US-56 east of Falcon Rd.

Timothy C. Durkan, 41, Springfield, Missouri, crossed the center line at 2:59 a.m. Oct. 11 while driving a 2013 Freightliner owned by Interrobang, Inc., Downers Grove, Illinois. The Freightliner swerved into the south ditch and hit a power pole. Durkan overcorrected and the semi overturned onto its driver’s side. The semi was towed.

US-56 west of Diamond Rd.

A deer ran from the ditch at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 14 and hit the side of a 2015 Chevrolet Suburban driven by Todd A. Frieze, 48, Chapman. Neither Frieze nor his passengers, Susan L. Frieze, 48, and Elyssa J. Frieze, 15, both of Chapman, reported injury.

Hillsboro

400 E. Grand St.

Dallas D. Whorton, Roxbury, backed a 2003 Pontiac Sunfire owned by Breanna Kulman, Roxbury, out of a parking stall and hit a 2007 Pontiac G6 driven by Abrey A. Nichols, Lehigh, and owned by Micha Hiebert, Lehigh.
