Alice Winter

Alice M. Winter, 86, Hillsboro, died Oct. 2 at Salem Home.

Born Dec. 25, 1922, in Tampa to H.F.K. and Mathilda (Bielefeld) Mueller, she was married Dec. 25, 1945, in Tampa to Edwin Winter.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Hillsboro.

Survivors include her husband, Edwin; two sons, Larry of Silver Lake and Wayne of Salina; a daughter, Wanda Unruh of Assaria; two brothers, Arthur Mueller of Tampa and Lawrence Mueller of Iola; three sisters, Agnes Steinert of Hutchinson, Paula Fike of Ramona, and Doris Ott of Golden, Mo.; seven grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Services were Tuesday at Zion Lutheran Church in Hillsboro with the Rev. Brett Huebner officiating. Burial was at Durham Park Cemetery in rural Durham.

A memorial fund has been established with Zion Lutheran Church Building Fund.
