Bethel

Five Marion County students were included on Bethel College’s list of 2014 bachelor’s degree graduates released last week.

Austin Unruh of Goessel received a summa cum laude (3.8 to 4.0 GPA) degree in mathematical sciences in January.

May graduates included Sara Holman-Boman of Goessel in art, Kaitlyn Preheim of Peabody in social work, Cameron Stultz of Goessel in business administration, and Aaron Topham of Peabody in biology.

Sophomore Tia Goertzen, juniors Laird Goertzen and Braden Unruh, and seniors Sara Boman, James Goerzen, and Michelle Unruh, all of Goessel were named to the dean’s list (3.7 to 4.0 GPA) for the spring semester.

Sophomore Zachary Preheim of Peabody and Stultz were named to the honor roll (3.5 to 3.69 GPA).

Fort Hays State

Six Marion County students were among 2,027 who completed this spring from Fort Hays State University.

Melissa Raniece Zieammermann of Marion received a master’s in education administration.

Bachelor’s degrees went to Mary Elizabeth Busenitz (general business) of Burns, Anthony D. Esay (graphic design) and Jandee Lee Miles (tourism and hospitality management) of Hillsboro, Amy Kathryn Pagenkopf (elementary education) of Lost Springs, Gail L. Boaldin (nursing) of Marion, and Jennifer Makovec (justice studies) of Ramona.

Adam Molleker of Marion was among the 1,170 named last week to the dean’s honor roll (3.6 to 4.0 GPA) for the spring semester. A senior, he is majoring in physics.
