Mary Louise Eitzen and Jona Harold Baltzer will soon be celebrating their 65th wedding aniversary. They were married Oct. 30, 1947, in Hillsboro.

Jona was a farmer, vocal music instructor, church musician, and for 9 years was director of the Kansas Mennonite Men’s Chorus. His wife is a retired secretary and nurse who worked as a physician assistant in Moundridge
