Bert Jost

Bert Jost, 87, died Monday at Parkside Home in Hillsboro.

He was born Sept. 2, 1925, in Saskatchewan, Canada, to Henry S. and Anna (Klassen) Jost. He was a farmer. He married Alice Hodel on June 3, 1949, in Hillsboro.

He is survived by his wife, Alice Jost of rural Hillsboro; two sons, Keith Jost and Clyde Jost, both of rural Hillsboro; two daughters, Charlene Driggers of Hillsboro and Clara Frick of rural Durham; a sister, Vi Hiebert of Newton; 12 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. today at Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church. Pastor Brian Allen will officiate.

A memorial has been established with Tabor College Fine Arts Building Fund.
