Several ladies had lunch together Sept. 27 to celebrate birthdays. They included Debbie Penn, Arlene Pankratz, Eleanor Herbel, Pearl Koch, Lois Nuss, Carol Ollenburger, Edie Ollenburger, Marcella Mohn, Mildred Hamm, Kay Carlson, and Shirley Hamm.
Chrystal Aimsworth of Bentonville, Ark., and Francis Mull of Howard were recent visitors of Frances Unruh and Beverly Mull.
Many attended the retirement celebration for Peggy and Gaylord Duerksen Sept. 30 at the Ebenfield Church.
Tim and Donna Diener and their grandson, Jack Owen Nickel, visited Arlene Pankratz the evening of Sept. 30.
Gus and Mildred Hamm, Marcella Mohn, and Arlene Pankratz attended the 65th wedding anniversary and dinner Sept. 30 in Durham for Gaylord and Valera Hamm, which was hosted by the Hamm family.
