Carol R. Bowyer, 73, of Bentley died Saturday at Newton Medical Center in Newton. She was born Oct. 26, 1938, in Erie to Herman and Sylvia (Fisher) Hull.

She married Alvin B. Bowyer on Sept. 1, 1957 in Erie. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Dale Hull.

She is survived by a son, Jeff Bowyer of Ottawa; a daughter, Twyla Middleton of Peabody; two brothers, Don Hull of Erie, Darrell Hull of Wichita; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Aug. 30 at Bentley United Methodist Church in Bentley with Pastors Paul Stephens and Bill Eichelberger officiating. Inurnment will follow at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Bentley.

Memorial funds have been established for Bentley United Methodist Church and Bentley Senior Citizens.
