Larry and Eileen Schmidt and Kasey arrived at the Roy Davis home from Mississippi in time for supper Wednesday.

Thursday evening, the Davises and their houseguests had supper at the home of Gary and Crystal Davis in Hillsboro. Additional guests were the Leland Davises from Texas.

Ransom and Lilian Wiebe were hosts for a belated Christmas supper Thursday at the school. Guests included family members from the area plus Justin and Rebecca Wiebe and family from Iowa and Justin and Kristie Schmidt Colton and Ana from Virginia.

Wendell and Linda Wedel were joined by the Travis Becker family for dinner Thursday at a Newton restaurant.

The Larry Koehn, Titus Koehn, Tim Koehn, Dalton Wiebe, and Christopher Schrock families and Amy Koehn were supper guests Friday of the Travis Koehn family.

Attending a Roy Davis family celebration Friday were the Rick Koehn, Hiram Wedel, and Larry Schmidt families. They drove around in the community Saturday and spent time at the home of Rick Koehn. Sunday, the family gathered at the Davis home for dinner. The Hiram Wedel family left for their home New Year’s Day.

Ransom and Lillian Wiebe and Justin and Kristie Schmidt and family were breakfast guests Friday at the home of Anthony and Beth Wiebe.

Larry and Wanda Koehn’s supper guests Saturday were Dalton and Lorna Wiebe and family, Christopher and Denise Schrock and family, and Quinton and Dianne Unruh, Katie and Susie. The Unruhs had just returned from Zambia, where they visited Kendall and Susie Wiebe and family.

Going to the home of Harry and Sheryle Rhodes on Sunday for their belated family Christmas were Ken and Shelli Giesbrecht and Taylor, Darrin and Meri Kay Rhodes and family, Calvin and Janene Wiebe and family, and Mike and Mich Rhodes and family.

The evening of Dec. 26, Dora Unruh and Mark and Barb Unruh and Sarah went to Goessel for a Duerksen family gathering. Marvin and Rosalie Duerksen and Sandy and Brandon and Susan Nafziger Brooke and Colby were hosts for the event at the Alexanderwohl Church fellowship hall.

Catching up on earlier news, delayed by illness:

Larry and Wanda Koehn returned home Dec. 7 after doing mission work at Children’s Home in Gallup, New Mexico.

Durham Senior Citizens met Dec 20 at the Community Building, with 16 seniors singing Christmas carols, visiting, and having a potluck meal.

Hiram and Rhonda Wedel and Brayden from Iowa arrived Christmas day to spend a week with Roy and Nadine Davis. They were joined for dinner by Wendell and Linda Wedel and Tim Davis.

The Ron Unruh family gathered for dinner Dec. 23 at the family home. Among those at the Christmas celebration were Jim and Brenda Enns, Mark and Barb Unruh, Lon and Deb Hiebert and Matt, Warren and Anita Unruh and Jenna, David and Ashley Enns and family, Matt Stauffer and Lisa Enns from Seattle, Darren and Corina Enns, Josh and Katlin Hendricks Jayden and Addy, Sarah Unruh, Logan Ryff, Nathan Unruh and Brayden Rucker.

Greg and Charlene Wedel and family and Travis and Connie Becker and family were guests of Wendell and Linda Wedel for dinner Dec. 23.

The Clayton Wiebes gathered Dec. 23 for a family dinner and supper. Guests included Nelson and Bev Wiebe and family, Travis and Sharon Koehn and family, Loretta Wiebe, Calvin and Janene Wiebe and family, Wayne and Lora lee Wiebe and family, and Jordan and Katie Wiebe.

The Larry and Wanda Koehn family gathered Christmas Eve at the home of Titus and
Chelsea Koehn. Guests included Larry and Wanda Koehn, Travis and Sharon Koehn and family, Dalton and Lorna Wiebe and family, Christopher and Denise Schrock and family from Ohio Amy Koehn, and Tim and Shelia Koehn and family.

Christmas day guests at the home of Jason and Sherri Wiebe were Ransom and Lillian Wiebe, Louise and Rayletta Ratzlaff, and the Andrew Weaver family.

Kyle and Jenna Unruh stopped by to see Grandpa and Grandma Unruh on Christmas Day.

Matt Stauffer and Lisa Enns visited the Ron Unruhs on Christmas Eve.

Lola Redger went to Newton to join the rest of her family for Christmas at the Ray Redger home.
