Contest deadlines loom

Deadlines for three Hoch Publications holiday contests are drawing near.

The deadline for a children’s coloring contest has been extended to Monday. Children 3 to 10 can win a three-foot stocking filled full of goodies by coloring a picture printed in the Nov. 22 edition.

Readers can enter their favorite recipe for a chance to win a $20 gift certificate to a Marion County restaurant. Entries are due Monday.

Readers can vote for one home in the Marion County Lighting Contest. Photos of homes in the contest appeared in the Dec. 6 edition. The winner receives a $20 gift certificate to a Marion County restaurant.

Contest entries and votes can be mailed or brought to Hoch Publications, 117 S. 3rd St., Marion, KS 66861.
