NEW JAILINGS

Rebekkah C. Coffman, 30, Colorado Springs, arrested Saturday by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of cruelty to animals. Released two hours later on her own recognizance, promising to pay $5,000 should she fail to appear in court.

Brent A. Corwin, 45, Salina, jailed Dec. 9 for allegedly violating his probation. Held in lieu of posting a $10,000 bond. Previously jailed Jan. 9 to Feb. 17 for allegedly violating his probation and Jan. 28 to March 18, 2024, on suspicion of possessing stimulants and drug paraphernalia.

Shannon L. DeNardi, 51, Peabody, arrested Thursday by Peabody police for allegedly violating her probation. Released 14½ hours later without bond. Previously jailed March 17, 2024, for allegedly violating her probation; Oct. 13 to 15, 2023, on court orders; and Sept. 14, 2023, on suspicion of driving without a license.

April N. Fore, 37, Peabody, arrested Thursday by Peabody police on suspicion of disorderly conduct. Released 21 hours later after posting a $1,000 bond. Previously jailed 17 times for a total of all or part of 109 days between April 25, 2018, and June 12, 2024. Previous jailings were on court orders twice, on holds for the Department of Corrections twice, on an unspecified warrant once, for failing to appear in court 20 times, for allegedly violating her probation three times, and on suspicion of battery, driving without a valid license twice and giving a worthless check.

Jeromy D. James, 45, Wichita, arrested Thursday by a sheriff’s deputy on an unspecified warrant and on suspicion of violating his probation. Held in lieu of posting a $2,500 bond. Previously jailed June 28 to July 21, 2024, on court orders; March 31, 2023, for allegedly violating his probation; and Sept. 5 and 6, 2021, on suspicion of aggravated domestic battery, criminal damage, and criminal restraint.

Libbie C. Jones, 27, McPherson, held Friday through Monday for McPherson County.

Richard W. Kelsey, 48, Peabody, arrested Dec. 9 by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of criminal damage to property. Released 22 hours later after posting a $250 bond. Previously jailed April 15, 2018, on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol and transporting an open container of alcohol.

Richard T. Litton, 40, Peabody, arrested Sunday by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of criminal trespassing and interfering with law enforcement. Bond not set. Previously jailed 10 times for a total of all or part of 647 days between Feb. 1, 2018, and Aug. 29, 2025. Previous jailings were on suspicion of disorderly conduct, falsely reporting a crime, aggravated assault, assault of a law enforcement officer (twice), endangering a child, criminal possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, battery (twice), battery of a law enforcement officer, interfering with law enforcement (three times), domestic battery (three times), making a criminal threat (twice), and criminal damage to property (twice); for failing to appear in court three times; for allegedly violating his probation twice; and on court orders.

Nicholas D. Waner, 37, Marion, jailed Dec. 9 for failing to appear in court. Held in lieu of posting a $2,500 bond. Previously jailed Aug. 15, 2023, for failing to appear in court and Aug. 9, 2023, on suspicion of domestic battery.

Thelma R.E. Wilson, 33, Newton, jailed Dec. 10 for allegedly violating her probation. Released an hour later after posting a $1,500 bond. Previously jailed Oct. 2 to 4 on court orders and Dec. 4 and 5, 2024, for twice failing to appear in court.
