Courtney Geis and Kyle Klassen, both of Wichita, announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.

Courtney is the daughter of Shawn Geis of Marion and Dale Geis of Lamont, Okla. Her grandparents are Marilyn Geis of Marion and the late Bob Geis and Terrie Todd of Whitewater. John and Lola Savoia of Hillsboro are her great-grandparents.

Kyle is the son of Shelley and Myron Klassen of Hesston. Lenora Klassen of Hillsboro, the late Don Klassen, and Anna Mae Goertz of Durham and the late Ben Goertz are his grandparents.

The bride-to-be graduated from Kansas State University in 2009 with a masters of interior architecture and product design. She is currently employed as an executive assistant.

The prospective bridegroom graduated from Wichita State University in 2008 with a degree in business administration. He graduated from the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado and is currently employed as a credit analyst for Equity Bank.

The wedding will be Sept. 7 at Botanica, the Wichita Gardens, in Wichita.
