Clayton and Betty Wiebe, and Nelson and Bev Wiebe and family attended the wedding of Heidi Hiebert and Ross Dirks of Geiger, Ala. July 14 at Alexanderfeld Church near Hillsboro.
Hiram and Rhonda Wedel of Iowa spent July 13 and 14 at the home of Roy and Nadine Davis. Rick and LeVae Koehn and sons were additional guests. On July 13, they had dinner at the Davis home. On July 14, they attend the wedding of their cousin at Alexanderfeld Church. The Wedels returned to Iowa July 14.
Chelsea Koehn, bride-elect of Titus Koehn was honored with a bridal shower July 12 in Fredonia. Attending were Wanda Koehn, Sharon Koehn, Lorna Wiebe, Meri Kay Rhodes, Rhonda Koehn and Danielle, Kalynda Wiebe, Kara Wiebe and Mishayla, Tannis Dirks, Karletta Wiebe and Janessa, Shelli Giesbrecht, Dianne Peachy, and Kayla Wiebe.
The youth of Morning Star Church had a farewell picnic for Titus Koehn at Marion’s Central Park July 10. Sponsors were Kendall and Susie Wedel, and Chet and Mellissa Boehs. Other guests were Larry and Wanda Koehn.
Carol and Loralee Wiebe’s parents, Ron and Lydia Toews of Heart Valley, Alberta, have been visiting in the area for several weeks. They and Wayne and Loralee Wiebe and family, Ransom and Lillian Wiebe, Sandy Wiebe, and Clara Toews of Hillsboro were supper guests July 12 of Clayton and Betty Wiebe.
Wendell and Linda Wedel, Greg and Charlene Wedel and family, and Travis and Connie Becker and family took their mother, Linda Wedel, out to eat for a birthday celebration July 14. Her birthday was Friday.
