Roy and Nadine Davis left Oct. 25 for Clarksdale, Miss. to visit Larry and Eileen Schmidt. On the way home Oct. 31 they did some sightseeing in Alma, Ark.
Clayton and Betty Wiebe had a barbecue benefit supper Nov. 1 at their home. Guests were Merlin and Karletta Wiebe, Lela Wedel, Sandy Wiebe, Scott and Tami Koehn and family, Doug and Starla Koehn and daughter, and Jessie Unruh.
The annual Poem Fest of the Cottonwood Grove School was Oct. 31 at the shed on the Ransom Wiebe yard. Students memorized poems and presented them to parents and other guests.
