Don’t bash Trump

To the editor:

The greatest thing the current administration has done for our country, besides enforcing immigration laws, is exposing all the fraud that is rampant in our government.

Every day, I read about another fraud scheme that is uncovered. Why do the media cover it up?

What is sad is that probably none of those billions of taxpayer dollars that have been squandered will ever be recouped.

The president wasn’t a politician. He had a safe, secure life, but he gave it all up to run for president. He has been buffeted from all sides, including the media.

People are openly trying to assassinate him. He seems to be busy 24/7 every week. He gives 100%. He has kept his campaign promises.

I’m not saying every decision he has made was good. Who am I to judge? Time will tell. But he has reduced the bureaucracy, lowered taxes, reduced regulations, and given a big boost to the private sector. And the economy shows it.

I like that he fights against the perversions that seek to weaken our country.

What does the other side have to offer? Bigger government, more distribution of wealth, higher taxes, and more loss of personal freedoms.

It scares me to see young people flocking to the idea of socialism or communism. That would destroy the Constitution and destroy our freedoms as Americans.

I just had to get this off my chest. Thank you for reading.
