Drama students to present classic novel

Hillsboro High School will bring Jane Austen’s classic novel “Pride and Prejudice” to life at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the school auditorium.

A romantic comedy set in the early 1800s in England, the story follows the romance of Fitzwilliam Darcy and Elizabeth Bennet.

Elizabeth detests Fitzwilliam upon meeting him, but eventually the two fall in love after many misunderstandings and victory over pride and prejudices of their society.

Cast and crew members for the performance include Brody Arnold, Gabbie Arnold, Abi Benda, Emerson Corby, Mackenzie D’Albini, Nash Dickinson, Chloe Dirks, Austyn Driggers, Rylie Driggers, Angus Duell, Autumn Eldridge, Peter Farha, Jaidyn Frantz, Bailee Gawith, Alivia Hefley, Paige Gehring, Maylee Hardey, Alivia Hefley, Grace Hein, Nora Hein, Trudy Hein, Pyper Hiebert, Addison Jost, Aimee Kelley, Phoebe Moss, Kaysie Rader, Maren Reed, Colton Rempel, Hudson Sibayan, Gabi Sibayan, Claudia Soo Hoo, Sam Sorenson, April Suderman, Derek Suderman, Adrian Unruh, Ben Werner, and Zaylee Werth.

Leah Rose is director and Kayla Gallaway is assistant director.
