Emergency dispatches

These dispatches were made by the Marion County Communications Department:

Aug. 21

2:44 p.m. — A man in his 60s suffering from exhaustion in the 800 block of Prairie Lawn Road was transported by Peabody ambulance to Newton Medical Center.

Aug. 22

7:56 a.m. — An elderly man who fell in the 1500 block of Lawrence Street was transported by Marion ambulance to St. Luke Hospital.

10:55 a.m. — Florence Fire Department responded to a railroad bridge fire east of Main Street in Florence.

12:52 p.m. — A child who fell off a bicycle and injured his ankle in the 500 block of Old Mill Road was transported by Peabody ambulance to Newton Medical Center.

12:59 p.m. — Ramona Fire Department responded to a wheat field fire one mile west of Ramona.

5:04 p.m. — Marion Fire Department and Marion ambulance responded to a milo field fire at 150th Road and Quail Creek Road.

10:23 p.m. — A woman with chills and numbness in the 500 block of South Wilson Street was transported by Hillsboro ambulance to Hillsboro Community Hospital. Hillsboro Fire Department provided lifting assistance.

Thursday

12:37 a.m. — Durham first responders and Hillsboro ambulance responded to a woman in her 60s with chest discomfort in the 800 block of Lawrence Street in Durham. The patient was transported to HCH.

7:06 a.m. — Hillsboro Fire Department responded to a silo fire in the 1200 block of 140th Road.

1:34 p.m. — A woman in her 70s feeling ill in the 1500 block of East Main Street was transported by Marion ambulance to St. Luke.

9:11 p.m. — A man in his 50s who injured his back in a fall in the 400 block of West Eighth Street in Florence was transported by Florence ambulance to St. Luke.

11:49 p.m. — Hillsboro Fire Department responded to an oven fire at Dakota Hall at Tabor College.

Friday

10:20 a.m. — Tampa ambulance and Lincolnville first responders were dispatched for a man in his 80s who fell in the 200 block of South Berry Street in Lost Springs. The patient was transported to St. Luke.

1:14 p.m. — A man in his 20s with difficulty breathing in the 300 block of North Walnut Street in Peabody was transported by Peabody ambulance to St. Luke.

4:18 p.m. — Marion ambulance provided emergency transportation of a patient from St. Luke to Wesley Medical Center.

Saturday

5:14 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance was dispatched for a person in their 80s who fell and was unable to get up in the 300 block of West Main Street in Lehigh.

11:21 a.m. — A man in his 70s with hip and back pain in the 1500 block of Quail Creek Road was transported by Marion ambulance to St. Luke.

1:59 p.m. — Marion ambulance provided non-emergency transport of a patient from St. Luke to Via Christi-St. Francis.

2:01 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance provided non-emergency transport of a patient from HCH to Newton Medical Center.

Sunday

10:38 a.m. — A man in his 70s with arm and leg pain in the 1500 block of East Lawrence Street was transported by Marion ambulance to St. Luke.

5:20 p.m. — A man in his 30s who felt ill and was vomiting in the 200 block of South Cedar Street was transported by Marion ambulance to St. Luke. Marion Fire Department provided lifting assistance.

Monday

1:11 a.m. — A woman in her 60s who was vomiting in the 1500 block of K-15 was transported by Hillsboro ambulance to Newton Medical Center. Goessel first responders assisted on the call.

9:21 a.m. — Lincolnville Fire Department, Lincolnville first responders, Lost Springs Fire Department, Tampa ambulance, Marion rescue and Marion ambulance responded to a two-vehicle collision at mile marker 323 on U.S. 77 near the Marion/Dickinson County line. Dickinson County EMS in Herington was dispatched for mutual aid. Three patients were transported to Herington Memorial Hospital.

2:15 p.m. — Tampa Fire Department and Marion Fire Department responded to a hydraulic fluid leak from a bucket truck in the 2700 block of Timber Road.

5:27 p.m. — Marion ambulance provided emergency transport of a patient from St. Luke to Wesley Medical Center.
