Dec. 27

2:44 a.m. — Peabody ambulance took a woman in her 60s with chest pains in the 1700 block of East 141 to Hillsboro Community Hospital.

12:56 p.m. — Marion ambulance took a woman in her 60s from St. Luke Hospital to Kansas Heart Hospital.

3:41 p.m. — Marion ambulance took a patient from St. Luke to Newton Medical Center.

5:15 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance took a patient from HCH to Via Christi St. Francis.

10:15 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance took a man with chest pains in the 1000 block of Indigo Road to Newton Medical.

Dec. 28

11:06 a.m. — Marion ambulance took a woman in her 20s and an infant to HCH from a one-vehicle rollover 3 miles west of Marion on 190th Road. Fire, rescue, and sheriff’s department also responded. Lifeteam was called but was later canceled.

12:56 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance took an unconscious woman in her 60s in the 300 block of 70th Road to Mercy Hospital in Moundridge. Goessel first response was unable to respond because a vehicle would not start. Goessel Fire provided lifting assistance.

3:34 p.m. — Marion ambulance took a teenage woman to St. Luke after an accident at the intersection of 160th and Nighthawk. Marion Fire extinguished a fire at the scene. Lifeteam was called but was later canceled.

Dec. 29

1:32 p.m. — Hillsboro Fire responded to the 200 block of South Birch Street for possible carbon monoxide.

7:54 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance took a man in his 80s and a woman with dizziness, and weakness in the 200 block of South Birch Street to HCH. The couple had a similar episode earlier and suspected carbon monoxide.

9:35 p.m. — Peabody ambulance took a woman in her 80s with trouble breathing from Bethesda Home to Newton.

10:37 p.m. — Marion ambulance took a woman in her 40s who took multiple pills in the 900 block of East Denver to St. Luke.

11:12 p.m. — Peabody ambulance responded to U.S. 50 half mile east of Peabody for a car-vs.-semi crash. Peabody Fire also responded to the crash. The patient refused transport.

Dec. 30

2:46 a.m. — Peabody ambulance took a woman in her 30s who was vomiting blood in the 200 block of Pine Street to Newton.

8:37 a.m. — Peabody Fire extinguished a tractor fire at the intersection of Old Mill and 10th roads. Whitewater Fire also responded.

8:49 p.m. — Marion ambulance took a woman in her 80s feeling ill in the 200 block of North Roosevelt Street to St. Luke.

9:45 p.m. — Hillsboro Fire responded to Tabor College for a possible gas leak. No leak was found.

11:26 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance took a patient from HCH to Newton Medical.

3:39 a.m. — Florence ambulance took an elderly woman with difficulty breathing in the 200 block of West 11th Street to St. Luke.

8:18 a.m. — Peabody ambulance took a patient from Peabody Care Center to Newton Medical.

9:11 a.m. — Marion ambulance took a patient from St. Luke Hospital to Newton Medical.

6:36 p.m. — Florence ambulance responded to the intersection of U.S. 50 and Mustang Road for an accident with multiple people with minor injuries.

8:24 p.m. — Peabody Fire extinguished a hedgerow fire along Nighthawk south of 120th.

Jan. 1

7:03 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance took a patient with weakness and nausea in the 300 block of South Adams Street to HCH. Hillsboro Fire provided lifting assistance.

7:35 p.m. — Florence ambulance took a woman in her 70s with difficulty breathing in the 100 block of East 9th Street to St. Luke.

7:54 p.m. — Marion ambulance took woman in her 90s who had fallen in the 200 block of North Cedar Street to St. Luke.

11:16 p.m. — Hillsboro Fire extinguished a wood-burning stove fire in the 300 block of South Washington Street. Hillsboro ambulance also responded.

Jan. 2

9 a.m. — Peabody ambulance took a woman in her 40s who was not feeling well from Peabody Care Center to Newton Medical.

11:15 a.m. — Peabody ambulance took a man who hit the back of his head from Peabody Care Center to Newton Medical.

3:30 p.m. — Florence ambulance responded to a man in his 80s who had fallen outside in the 200 block of West 3rd Street. No transport was made.

7:41 p.m. — Hillsboro Fire extinguished a house fire in the 200 block of North Lincoln Street. Hillsboro ambulance and the American Red Cross also responded.

Thursday

10:54 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance took a patient from an accident on K-15 south of 230th to HCH.

2:59 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance took a woman in her 80s, who briefly lost consciousness in the 200 block of South Birch Street, to HCH.

Friday

8:19 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance took a woman in her 80s, who was disoriented at Parkside Homes, to HCH.

5:59 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance responded to a teenage boy with back pain at Goessel High School. The ambulance was canceled when the boy told Goessel first response he would refuse transport.

7 p.m. — Marion ambulance made an emergency transfer from St. Luke to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.

7:11 p.m. — Peabody ambulance took a man in his 70s with labored and shallow breathing and chest pains in the 900 block of East 90th Road to Newton Medical. A Harvey County ambulance met the ambulance en route.

Saturday

9:33 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance took a man in his 70s, who was found on the floor in the 400 block of North Ash Street, to HCH.

11:59 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance took a woman in her 90s with chest pain and nausea at Bethesda Home to Newton Medical.

8:18 p.m. — Marion ambulance made an emergency transfer of a stable cardiac patient from St. Luke to St. Francis.

Sunday

2:07 p.m. — Goessel Fire responded to the area of 120th and Goldenrod for a controlled burn that got out of control.

5:01 p.m. — Marion ambulance took a patient from a one-vehicle injury accident near the intersection of Remington Road and U.S. 56 to St. Luke. Marion Fire also responded to the accident. Lifeteam was called but was later canceled.

9:29 p.m. — Marion ambulance transferred a patient from St. Luke to Wesley.

Monday

1:05 p.m. — Marion Fire responded to a controlled burn that got out of control near Zebulon Road south of 190th Road.

5:57 p.m. — Peabody ambulance treated a man in the 300 block of Elm Street. No transport was made. The ambulance responded to the same address at 7:29 p.m. and took a patient to Newton Medical.

7:43 p.m. — Marion ambulance took a woman with heart palpitations in the 000 block of Backbay Court at Marion County Lake to St. Luke.
