4:11 a.m. — Marion Fire Department extinguished a grass fire that spread into trees at the intersection of 150th and Nighthawk roads.

1:20 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance assisted LifeTeam air ambulance to pick up a patient from Hillsboro Community Hospital.

3:47 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance was called to Memorial Field for an umpire who was hit in the throat by a ball. The call was canceled at 3:49 p.m.

May 15

7:41 a.m. — Tampa Fire Department was called to a fire alarm in the 1800 block of 280th Road. The call was canceled at 7:44 a.m.

12:04 p.m. — Marion ambulance took a teenage boy who was lightheaded and had left-side numbness from the 300 block of Fink Street to St. Luke Hospital.

1:09 p.m. — Peabody ambulance responded to the 600 block of North Vine Street. No transport was made.

1:12 p.m. — Marion ambulance took a woman in her 90s who fell down and whose skin was cool and clammy from the 200 block of Eisenhower Drive to St. Luke.

Friday

12:18 p.m. — Marion ambulance responded to the 100 block of North Freeborn for a man who fell and couldn’t get up. No transport was made.

3:12 p.m. — Marion ambulance responded to the 200 block of North Coble Street for a man with very high blood pressure. No transport was made.

4:30 p.m. — Marion ambulance took a patient who had fallen and had hip pain from Peabody Care Center to Newton Medical Center. Peabody ambulance was out of service.

5:15 p.m. — Marion ambulance took a hospice patient from the 100 block of N. Freeborn Street to St. Luke.

Saturday

1:20 a.m. — Tampa ambulance took a teenager having trouble breathing from the 2200 block of West 340th Street, Lost Springs, to Herington Municipal Hospital. Lincolnville first response also responded.

6:19 a.m. — Marion ambulance took a woman in her 70s who was having diabetic issues from the 500 block of North Freeborn Street to St. Luke.

9 a.m. — Peabody ambulance transferred a patient from Peabody Care Center to Newton Medical.

11:58 a.m. — Marion ambulance transferred a patient from St. Luke to Newton Medical.

1:41 p.m. — Tampa ambulance took a teenager with a possible dislocated knee from the 300 block of North B Street, Ramona, to Herington Municipal.

11:44 p.m. — Peabody ambulance took a man with bleeding from Westview Manor to St. Luke.

Sunday

11:37 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance responded to Hillsboro Cove at Marion Reservoir for a boat found capsized. It was unclear if anyone had been in the boat.

11:04 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance took a woman with leg pain and difficulty walking the 300 block of Eisenhower Street to HCH.

Monday

Midnight — Hillsboro ambulance transferred a patient from HCH to Newton Medical.

6:46 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance took a man in his 40s who had injured his arm in a fall to HCH.

9:14 a.m. — Peabody ambulance took a woman who had fallen from the 2100 block of 30th Road to St. Luke. Florence ambulance was paged but didn’t have a second responder.

1:53 p.m. — Marion ambulance, Florence ambulance, LifeTeam air ambulance, Marion Fire Department, Marion rescue, Florence Fire Department, and Florence rescue responded to a crash with entrapment in a construction zone near 140th Road on U.S. 77, where a semi-truck hit a pilot car. LifeTeam took a patient to Wesley Medical Center.

1:59 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance took a man in his 20s with abdominal pain from the 200 block of East Kansas Street in Lehigh to HCH.

3:39 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance made an emergency transfer from HCH to Via Christi-St. Joseph.

3:43 p.m. — Peabody ambulance and Goessel first response responded to a call in the 100 block of 90th Road. The call was canceled at 3:59 p.m.

7:49 p.m. — Marion ambulance made an emergency transfer from St. Luke to Newton Medical.

10:27 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance transferred a woman in her 80s from Bethesda Home in Goessel to Newton Medical.
