12:15 a.m. — Peabody ambulance transferred a patient from Hillsboro Community Hospital to an Eagle Med helicopter.

1:43 p.m. — Marion ambulance made an emergency transfer from St. Luke Hospital to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.

2:22 p.m. — Marion fire responded to a controlled burn that grew out of control near K-150 in Chase County.

2:26 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance took a man in his 50s who had been vomiting from the 200 block of E. Fourth St. in Peabody to Newton Medical Center. Peabody fire provided lifting assistance. Peabody and Florence ambulances were out of service at the time.

6:12 p.m. — Marion ambulance transferred a patient from St. Luke to Via Christi-St. Francis in Wichita.

April 16

9:36 a.m. — Marion ambulance took a man in his 50s with a possible hip fracture from U.S. 77 near X Ranch Rd. south of Florence to St. Luke.

10:24 a.m. — Marion fire responded to a fire that had reignited along K-150 in Chase County.

1:05 p.m. — Marion ambulance transferred a patient from St. Luke to Newton Medical.

Thursday

11:49 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance took a person who had fallen down stairs and had leg pain from the 200 block of E. Main St. in Goessel to Newton Medical. Goessel first response also responded.

7:15 p.m. — Durham fire responded to a controlled burn that grew out of control near the intersection of 310th and Alamo Rds.

Friday

1:44 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance responded to an ultra-light plane crash on 170th Rd. between Indigo and Holly Rds. The ambulance took the pilot to HCH.

3:44 p.m. — Marion, Hillsboro, and Florence ambulance and Marion fire and rescue responded to a two-vehicle crash at the junction of U.S. 56, U.S. 77, and K-150.

Saturday

7:37 a.m. — Lincolnville fire responded to a fire along the railroad tracks near 280th Rd. west of U.S. 77.

9:15 a.m. — Marion ambulance transferred a patient from St. Luke to Newton Medical.

12:13 p.m. — Peabody fire responded to a hay bale fire in Harvey County.

2:39 p.m. — Peabody ambulance transferred a person with a blood clot from Peabody Care Center to Newton Medical.

5:07 p.m. — Goessel, Hillsboro, and Lehigh fire responded to a stubble fire on 150th Rd. about 2 miles west of K-15.

Sunday

12:47 a.m. — Peabody fire responded to a report of an odor of smoke in the 300 block of Vine St.

2:31 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance took a man in his 80s who had chest pains with a possibly malfunctioning pacemaker from Bethesda Home in Goessel to Newton Medical.

8:40 a.m. — Tampa ambulance responded to the 100 block of County Rd. in Tampa for a woman in her 60s who had a possible stroke. Lifeteam helicopter took the patient to Via Christi-St. Francis.

7:39 p.m. — Peabody ambulance and fire responded to a crash in the 400 block of S. Maple St. No transport was made.

Monday

12:17 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance took a man in his 30s with a possible overdose from the 100 block of North St. in Lehigh to HCH.

2:19 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance made a non-emergency transfer from HCH to Prairie View in Newton.

2:56 p.m. — Hillsboro fire responded to a mower on fire near a gas tank.

3:39 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance made a non-emergency transfer from HCH to Prairie View.

4:08 p.m. — Peabody ambulance took a patient from Peabody Care Center to Newton Medical.

5:38 p.m. — Marion fire responded to hay bales on fire south of the reservoir spillway.

11:24 p.m. — Florence fire responded to a report of a brush fire near the intersection of U.S. 50 and Zebulon Rd. It was found to be a controlled burn.
