March 30

3:45 a.m. — An 80-year-old man with stroke-like symptoms near 100th and Meridian Rds. was taken to Newton Medical Center by Hillsboro ambulance.

6:57 a.m. — A man who was unconscious near 320th and Sunflower Rds. was found deceased.

7:41 a.m. — Burns firefighters were called to Butler County for mutual aid.

11:52 a.m. — A woman who was feeling ill in the 200 block of S. Elm St., Hillsboro, was taken to Newton Med by Hillsboro ambulance.

12:17 p.m. — A 75-year-old woman having chest pains in the 800 block of N. Poplar St., Peabody, refused to be taken to a hospital by Peabody ambulance.

2:16 p.m. — An Ascension Via-Christi St. Francis patient was transferred to St. Luke by Marion ambulance.

MARCH 31

1:49 p.m. — An 80-year-old woman with chest pains in the 100 block of Eisenhower St., Marion, was taken to St. Luke by Marion ambulance.

3:34 p.m. — Burns firefighters were called for mutual aid in Butler County.

4:14 p.m. — Lincolnville firefighters were called to an out-of-control fire near 290th and Alfalfa Rds. Marion firefighters were called for mutual aid.

5:46 p.m. — Peabody firefighters were called to a tree line on fire near 3rd and Peabody Sts.

7:04 p.m. — Hillsboro firefighters, rescue, and ambulance were called to a head on collision near US-56 and HWY K-15. No accident was found.

7:53 p.m. — A person having a seizure in the 1500 block of E. Lawrence St., Marion, was taken to St. Luke by Marion ambulance.

8:08 p.m. — Hillsboro firefighters were called to a possible fire near Parkside Homes duplexes.

10:41 p.m. — A medical pendant was activated in the 200 block of W. Main St., Burns. It was an accidental press and the ambulance was canceled. Burns first responders were also on scene.

12:34 p.m. — Burns firefighters were called to an out-of-control fire near 30th and B Rds.

3:06 p.m. — Marion and Lincolnville firefighters were called to 230th and Bluestem Rds. for an out-of-control fire.

friday

12:24 a.m. — Tampa and Ramona firefighters were called to a grass fire near 290th and Quail Creek Rds.

10:22 a.m. — A 51-year-old man who fell in the 1500 block of E. Main St., Marion, was helped up and refused to be taken to a hospital by Marion ambulance. Marion firefighters were also on scene.

10:56 a.m. — A 67-year-old man with low vitals in the 200 block of W. B St., Hillsboro, refused to be taken to a hospital by Hillsboro ambulance.

11:36 a.m. — Burns firefighters responded to a grass fire in Butler and Chase Counties.

1:05 p.m. — A 68-year-old woman who was not feeling well in the 600 block of N. Poplar St., Peabody, refused to be taken to a hospital by Peabody ambulance.

1:55 p.m. — Florence firefighters were called to a fire that rekindled near 120th and Sunflower Rds.

2:49 p.m. — Lincolnville, Florence, Lost Springs, and Marion firefighters were called to a grass fire near 240th and Bluestem Rds.

4:23 p.m. — Marion ambulance, Marion firefighters and Lincolnville first responders were called to a motorcycle accident near US-77 and 260th Rd. One person was taken to Wesley Medical Center, Wichita, by Marion ambulance.

7:52 p.m. — A 77-year-old man having difficulty breathing in the 200 block of N. Lincoln St., Hillsboro, was taken to HCH by Hillsboro ambulance. Hillsboro first responders were also on scene.

12:02 a.m. — An HCH patient was transferred to Wesley Medical Center by Hillsboro ambulance.

11:16 a.m. — Florence firefighters were called to a swather fire near 130th and Vista Rds. Marion firefighters were also on scene.

5:23 p.m. — A 72-year-old man who fell in the 400 block of N. Sycamore St., Peabody, was taken to Newton Med by Peabody ambulance.

sunday

4:01 a.m. — Law officers requested Marion ambulance to Marion County Jail for a blood draw.

4:26 a.m. — A woman who activated her medical alarm in the 200 block of N. Cedar St., Marion, refused to be taken to a hospital by Marion ambulance.

8:13 a.m. — An HCH patient was transferred to Newton Med by Hillsboro ambulance.

9:39 a.m. — A St. Luke patient was transferred to Newton Med by Marion ambulance.

monday

9:01 a.m. — A medical alarm company reported that a person was having chest pains in the 200 block of W. B St., Hillsboro. They refused to be taken to a hospital by Hillsboro ambulance.

9:40 a.m. — A 79-year-old man who had blacked out near 330th and Remington Rds. refused to be taken to a hospital by Tampa ambulance.

11:51 a.m. — A medical alarm company reported a person was ill in the 200 block of W. B St., Hillsboro. They refused to be taken to a hospital by Hillsboro ambulance.

12:42 p.m. — A 78-year-old man who was vomiting up blood in the 400 block of N. Sycamore St., Peabody was taken to Newton Med by Peabody ambulance.

1:23 p.m. — Marion firefighters were called about smoke in the air near 220th Rd. and US-77.
