Nov. 13

9:54 a.m. — Marion ambulance responds to transfer request from St. Luke Hospital to Newton Medical Center for a patient with pneumonia. The ambulance was back at the station at 12:14 p.m.

9:55 a.m. — Peabody ambulance responded to 400 block of North Spruce Street for a man in his 60s who felt weak and was not speaking very well. The ambulance returned to Peabody at 11:16 a.m.

12:27 p.m. — Peabody ambulance responded to HCH for a transfer to St. Francis Hospital. The ambulance returned to Peabody by 2:59.

9:21 p.m. — Goessel Fire Department responded to 352 29th Ave. for a motor vehicle accident. The department was on the scene at the rollover accident at 9:35 with Moundridge Emergency Medical Services also on scene. Goessel Fire Department headed back to station at 10:25.

11:27 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance responded to HCH for a transport to St. Joseph. The ambulance was back in the station by 1:55 a.m.

Nov. 14

8:54 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance responded to Hillsboro High School for a teenage female with breathing difficulty. A non transport was reported at 9:10. The ambulance was back at the station at 9:47.

11:41 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance responded to the 400 block of West B Street for a woman in her 70s who was in pain and feeling weak. The ambulance was back at the station at 12:25 p.m.

4:04 p.m. — Peabody ambulance responded to Peabody-Burns High School for a basketball injury with a teenage patient. The ambulance transported the patient to Newton Medical Center. The ambulance was back in Peabody by 5:21 p.m.

Nov. 15

9:04 a.m. — Hillsboro ambulance responded to HHS for a teenage female having a seizure and transported the patient to HCH. The ambulance was back at the station at 9:58.

Nov. 16

11:40 a.m. — Peabody ambulance responded to Peabody Care Center for a man in his 70s who fell and was complaining of neck pain. The ambulance was back in Peabody at 1 p.m.

1:55 p.m. — Peabody Fire Department responded to a commercial fire alarm. It was reported it was a malfunction due to construction.

3:16 p.m. — Lincolnville Fire Department responded one half mile west of Vista Road on 280th for a control burn brush fire that had gotten out of control. The fire department was en route back to Lincolnville at 5:10 p.m.

3:21 p.m. — Marion ambulance responded to a transport request from St. Luke Hospital to Wesley Medical Center. The ambulance was back in Marion by 6:09 p.m.

9:08 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance responded to Grand Avenue and A Street for a police officer request. A young white male was unable to breath. The patient was transported to HCH. They were back at the station at 10:24 p.m.

Nov. 17

10:55 a.m. — Peabody ambulance responded to 800 block of North Poplar Street for a woman having a heart attack. They were back in county by 1:19 p.m.

2:45 p.m. — Hillsboro ambulance responded to the 100 block of North Washington Street for a man in his 80s passed out in bathroom who fell to the floor. It was reported by dispatch that he was not injured in the fall but he was unconscious. Hillsboro Fire Department was paged for lifting assistance at 2:53. The ambulance reported back at the station at 3:21 p.m.

4:04 p.m. — Marion ambulance responded to 1500 block of East Lawrence Street for an American Medical Alert. Dispatch called back to the ambulance to disregard call at 4:06 p.m.

9:43 p.m. — Peabody ambulance responded to the 1000 block of Indigo Road for a man in his 70s suffering from chest pains and transported the patient to Newton Medical Center. The ambulance returned at 11:28 p.m.

10:44 p.m. — Marion ambulance responded to the 700 block of North Cedar Street for a male suffering chest pains. Dispatch reported a witness said the man had eaten a large amount of jalapenos, which might explain the chest pain. Non transport was reported by the ambulance at 11:10 p.m.

Nov. 19

12:56 a.m. — Marion ambulance responded to 300 block of North Roosevelt Street for a standby for a 911 hang up of a medical nature. Dispatch advised the ambulance that the call was a gunshot wound at 1:01 a.m. The ambulance reported a life threatening situation at 1:13. The ambulance updated dispatch that the victim was a man in his 20s who had suffered a gunshot wound above his left nipple; he was conscious and talking. LifeTeam Helicopter was dispatched at 1:42 LifeTeam was en route by 2:20 Marion ambulance was back to station at 3:07 a.m.
