Jim and Brenda Enns hosted a cookout Aug. 3 for the Unruh family. Guests were Ron and Dora Unruh, Mark and Barb Unruh and Sarah, Lon and Deb Hiebert and Matt, Warren and Anita Unruh, Kyle and Jenna, David and Ashley Enns and family, and Darren and Corina Enns of Hesston. Water games were played to try to keep cool. David and Caleb Enns had birthdays, and cake and ice cream were served.
Larry and Wanda Koehn, Warren and Jane Unruh, and Quinton and Dianne Unruh and Katie went to Montezuma on Aug. 2, where they were guests of their sister Starla Harms for the weekend. They returned the evening of Aug. 3.
Those that were invited for supper on Aug. 3 to the home of Roy and Nadine Davis on Aug. 3 were Jarold and Rhonda Koehn and family, Greg and Charlene Wedel and family, and Doug and Starla Koehn and Alysa.
Some of the Wiebe family enjoyed a family picnic Aug. 3 at the Hillsboro park. Those attending were Ransom and Lillian Wiebe, Merlin and Karletta Wiebe and Janessa, Jason and Sheri Wiebe and family, Mark and Kris Wiebe and family, Kendall and Susie Wiebe and family, and Ed and Leanne Plett and daughter.
