Farm life to be on display

Farm life will be showcased 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 10 at the 17th annual Day on the Farm at Duerksen/Knepp farm, 1582 Falcon Road, Hillsboro.

Stick horse races will run at 11 a.m., noon, and 1 p.m. Participants should bring their own stick horses though a few additional ones will be available.

Other events include pig catching, milking a goat, and rope making. Horse rides, a petting zoo, and a hay bale maze also will be offered.
