Fred David

Services for Fred David, 87, who died Thursday at his home in Hillsboro, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church, Durham.

Pastor Craig Rankin will officiate. Relatives will receive friends 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Jost Funeral Home, Hillsboro.

Born July 1, 1936, on a family farm 3½ miles south of Tampa to Otto and Miriam (Reuscher) David, he married Doris Dalke on Feb. 27, 1966, in Miami, Oklahoma.

She and stepson Robert L. Dalke preceded him in death.

Survivors include son Scott David of Tampa; stepchildren Russ Dalke of Castle Rock, Colorado; Devon Kelley of Derby; and Helen Hagen and Kris Pschigoda of Hillsboro; sister Darlene Helberg of Colorado Springs; 17 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren; and four great- great-grandchildren.

A memorial has been established with the church.
