Goessel Board of Education heard a presentation from Seth Martin of Loyd Builders regarding facility improvements Monday at the board of education meeting.

In the report, Martin reviewed the completed sewer relocation work performed by Stevenson Plumbing, and informed board members of the notable dates in the projects timetable.

Funk Electric was to be onsite Tuesday to begin trench-work that will contain rerouted electric lines, while McPherson Wrecking is set to begin demolition Thursday on a portion of the building that overlaps the footprint of the new addition, Superintendent John Fast said Tuesday.

The construction plan also currently includes S&H Steel for the manufacturing of skeletal metal framework, Fast said.

Bids for work are to be released Dec. 20, the due date for bids are Jan. 20, and in February the board is set to final bid approval.
