Goessel Elementary students plan Christmas program

Goessel Elementary School’s kindergarten through 5th grade students will present a Christmas program at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Dec. 17.

Kindergarten through grade three students will present “Ring the Bells of Christmas,” a Christmas musical.

Fourth and fifth grade choral pieces include Mozart’s “Alleluia,” “Walking in the Air,” and “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree.”

The K-5 choir will lead the audience in “Angels We Have Heard on High” and “Joy to the World.”

Marcia Brubaker is the K-5 music teacher. Michelle Unruh is the choral accompanist.

Rob Tierney, band director will debut the fifth grade band. They will play familiar Christmas carols such as “Jolly Old Saint Nicholas” and “Silent Night.” Each fifth grader will perform a solo.
