Boys place 6th

With some solid individual performances, the Goessel High School girls’ track team placed third April 14 at Haven.

Brittney Hiebert took first in the 800- and 1,600-meter runs.

Olivia Duerksen placed second in high jump and fourth in long jump.

Jennifer Meysing earned third in the 3,200 and fifth in triple jump.

Erin Brubaker took third in the 300 hurdles, Aleena Cook took fifth in high jump, Rachel Manis earned third and Julia Nightengale placed sixth in the 1,600.

Lauren Rymil took sixth in the 800.

Boys

Several Bluebird boys earned points in multiple events at Haven.

Zach Wiens place third in 110 hurdles and the 300 hurdles.

Miguel Guerrero placed third in triple jump and fourth in long jump.

Fifth place points were scored by Dominik Rebhol placed fifth in the 3,200, Josh Schmidt in the triple jump, and Chase Flaming in shot put.

Jordan Griffin finished sixth in triple jump.
