Harold Pankratz, 86, died Tuesday at Parkside Homes in Hillsboro.  

Celebration of life service was Tuesday at Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church. Family received guests Sunday at Jost Funeral Home in Hillsboro.  

He was born March 16, 1929, to Albert and Anna Pankratz in Hillsboro.  He married Esther Loewen June 1, 1951, in Hillsboro.

Survivors include: his wife, Esther Pankratz of Hillsboro; son, Glen Pankratz of Wichita; daughters, Cheryl Olsen of Sedgwick and Mylene Serpan of Sedgwick; brother, Paul Pankratz of Bellavista, Arkansas; sisters, Marjorie Just of Rural Hillsboro, Marilyn Nealy of Titusville, Florida; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.  

He was predeceased by his son-in-laws Brad Olsen and Terry Serpan, and his sister, Aldine Funk.
