Harry D. Wedel, 87, of Durham died Monday. He was born Feb. 14, 1925, to C.C. and Helen (Ratzloff) Wedel in rural Moundridge.

He was a farmer and road maintenance worker. He married Lela Jantz on Dec. 21, 1947, in Livingston, Calif.

He is survived by his wife, Lela Wedel of Durham; six daughters, Sheryle Rhodes of Tampa, Jane Unruh of Lehigh, Donita Rhodes of Tampa, Jenalee Becker of Canton, Karleen Koehn of Galva, and Karletta Wiebe of Tampa; a brother, Arthur Wedel of Tampa; 21 grandchildren; and 37 great-grandchildren.

Services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Friday at Morning Star Church, rural Tampa. Burial will be in Logan Township Cemetery, rural Tampa. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the church.
