Oct. 14: A harassment complaint was filed in the 100 block of South Adams Street; the person reported she was being harassed by a former boyfriend.

Oct. 15: Officers assisted Marion County Sheriff with cattle out on Indigo Road. A noise complaint was filed in the 100 block of South Elm Street; an officer located alcohol and drug paraphernalia on the premises; charges of possession of paraphernalia and probation violation are pending against two Hillsboro men.

Oct. 16: A theft was reported in the 300 block of North Ash Street. A person reported someone had stolen cash from her apartment. A person reported the theft of a vehicle; the investigation determined the vehicle was taken by repossession and is a civil matter.

Oct. 19: A person called for information on a handgun that was seized in another county. A civil complaint in the 500 block of South Wilson Street was filed a person reported being harassed by a roommate.

Oct. 20: An officer responded to the 100 block of South Main Street for a suicidal person. The person was taken to Hillsboro Community Hospital for a medical screening and possible transport to a mental health facility.
