Dec. 16: Officers assisted Hillsboro fire department with a house fire in the 200 block of South Madison Street.

Dec. 17: Officers investigated a stalking complaint in the 400 block of South Washington Street.

Dec. 18: A damage complaint was taken in the 700 block of South Washington Street; a person said dogs damaged his drain spouts. A person reported a possible child sexual abuse violation; the case is still under investigation. A Hillsboro resident reported being harassed by a McPherson subject.

Dec. 19: Several complaints were taken of a helicopter hovering at low altitude over several areas of Hillsboro. The helicopter was tracked to a Wichita airport. A disturbance was reported at the public library; one subject was banned from the library because of his conduct
