Dec. 27: Officers took a report of a possible sex abuse case involving a minor.

Dec. 28: Officers assisted with a reckless driver on U.S. 56. A domestic disturbance was checked in the 400 block of North Ash Street.

Dec. 30: A hunting complaint was checked at the south end of the city limits; subjects were reported to be hunting geese near ponds within the city. Officers assisted with a possible gas leak at Tabor College.

Dec. 31: A person reported concerns about a possible identity theft.

Jan. 2: Officers assisted Hillsboro Fire Department with a house fire in the 200 block of North Lincoln Street.

Jan. 3: Officers assisted with cattle in the roadway on U.S. 56.

Jan. 5: Officers issued citations for an unrestrained child.
