April 28: An abandoned vehicle was reported in the 200 block of West B Street. A domestic disturbance was checked in the 100 block of South Birch Street. Officers assisted a person with retrieving a stolen vehicle.
April 29: Officers assisted an outside agency with a possible sexual abuse complaint. Officers checked a domestic disturbance in the 300 block of South Adams Street; charges are pending against a Hillsboro man.
April 30: Officers mediated a child custody dispute.
May 1: Officers assisted an outside agency with a fraud investigation. Officers worked a non-injury vehicle accident in the 300 block of South Washington Street. Officers worked a non-injury vehicle accident at Birch and D streets.
May 3: A harassment complaint was filed in the 500 block of East D Street. Officers arrested a juvenile on a pickup-and-detain order; the juvenile was transported to a juvenile facility.
May 4: An aggravated burglary was reported in the 300 block of South Washington Street.
May 6: Officers assisted code enforcement officer with the removal of junk vehicles in the 200 block of West B Street.
May 7: A threat complaint was reported in the 300 block of South Adams Street. A theft complaint was reported in the 100 block of North Ash Street; Someone had cut locks on a locker and removed items. Officers assisted code enforcement officers with the removal of junk from a resident in the 200 block of West B Street; the resident was accused of aggravated assault during the process and arrested. A reckless driver was reported in the 200 block of North Cedar Street.
May 8: A shoplifting complaint was filed at a local store. A suspicious subject was accused of driving under the influence and arrested.
May 9: A fraud complaint was reported in the 200 block of South Birch Street.
May 10: A commercial alarm was tripped in the 100 block of North Main Street.
May 11: A subject was accused of driving without a license and arrested.
