Irene V. Kinsey, 98, died Sunday at St. Luke Living Center.

Viewing will be at noon Friday, with a memorial service at 1 p.m. at Zeiner Funeral Home. Interment will be in Marion Cemetery.

She was born April 3, 1916, to Michael and Maude (Headding) Acord in Willard, Oklahoma. She married A. L. “Pete” Kinsey on Oct. 22, 1941.

Her husband and siblings Lottie Mae Potter, Norma Livings, John Acord, and George Acord preceded her in death.

Sons George Kinsey of Kansas City, Missouri, and Arlyn Kinsey of Lawrence, and two step-grandsons survive her.

A memorial fund has been established for Valley United Methodist Church in care of Zeiner Funeral Home, 205 Elm, Marion, KS 66861.
