Ron and Dora Unruh attended the Duerksen family Thanksgiving potluck supper Nov. 16 at the Goessel City Building. Rudy and Eulalia Schroeder and family hosted the event.

Seventeen Durham seniors met Nov. 20 for the annual Thanksgiving dinner at the community building. Bingo was played after dinner. The annual Christmas meeting will be at noon Dec. 18.
Morning Star Youth and their sponsors held the annual Friendship Supper Nov. 21 at the church. Attendance was down due to weather. Robert and Sylvia Smith of Farwell, Texas, grandparents of Kella Smith, came for the supper and to visit. They were houseguests of Clayton and Betty Wiebe.

Those who attended were Jim and Brenda Enns, Lon and Deb Hiebert and Matt, Mark and Barb Unruh and Sarah, Warren and Anita Unruh and Nathan, Kyle, and Jenna, David and Ashley Enns and family of El Dorado, Darren and Corina Enns of Riley, Josh and Katelin Hendricks of Wamego, and Teal Stutzman of Haven. The birthdays of Brenda Enns and Kyle Unurh were also honored.
On Nov. 22, Wayne and Lora Lee Wiebe held a benefit supper for the Cottonwood Grove School at their home. Guests who enjoyed a pizza supper were Ransom and Lillian Wiebe, Warren and Jane Unruh, Calla Wengar, Doug and Starla Koehn and daughter, and Titus and Chelsea Koehn.
