Levi Brown, 88, died May 11 at Peabody Care Center.

He was born Sept. 1, 1924, to Michael and Lena (Muth) Brown in New Rockford, N.D. He married Georgia Dick on Oct. 3, 1942, in Marion County.

Survivors include his wife, Georgia Brown of Peabody, one son, Jerald Brown of Hillsboro; one daughter, Jo Ann Taku of San Jose, Calif.; five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Jost Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Commital will be at Durham Park Cemetery in rural Durham.
