NORTHWEST OF DURHAM:   Lola Redger receives first grandchild

Rhys Aaron, a son, was born to Kham and Tressa Steel on April 11 at Newton Medical Center. Rhys is Lola Redger’s first grandchild.

The Morning Star Youth presented an Easter program on April 13 that included songs and readings about the crucifixion and resurrection story.

Dora Unruh, Josh and Katlin Hendricks, and Barb Unruh and Sarah attended the Mennonite Central Committee sale April 12 in Hutchinson.

Ransom and Lillian Wiebe invited Greg and Charlene Wedel and family, Doug and Starla Koehn and Alysa, Quinton, and Dianne Unruh, and Katie and Jessie over to their house on April 13 for dinner.

Larry and Wanda Koehn went to Newton on April 13 to eat dinner with Larry’s sister Lena Koehn. Other guests attending were Dennis and Jewel Warkentine Cartwright of Manitoba, and Howard and Iris Eck, and Karalyn of Havilland.

Dinner guests at the Clayton Wiebe home on April 13 were Roy and Nadine Davis, Wendell and Linda Wedel, Tim Davis, Gary and Bob Smallwood of Mobile, Ala., Robert Koontz of Baton Rouge, La., and Calla Wengar.
