Margaret Whipkey Clark, formerly of Peabody, died Sept. 16 in Lakeway, Texas.

Graveside services will be Oct. 11 at Strong City Cemetery.

She graduated from Peabody High School in 1937 and later graduated with a teaching degree from Kansas State Teachers College in Emporia.

She was married to Harold M. Clark, Peabody school superintendent from 1951-1955. They were members of Peabody Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband and a daughter, Peg.

She is survived by a son, Tom Clark of Austin, Texas.
