Marion Bina

Marion A. Bina, 54, died Oct. 4 in a motor vehicle accident in Chase County.

Born Nov. 6, 1954, in Marion to Ernest and Agnes (Mastek) Bina and raised in Pilsen.

He graduated in from Centre High School in 1973 and worked as a laborer. He was a member of Holy Family Parish, St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church in Pilsen.

His father and a brother, Lester, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his mother, Agnes of Marion; two godchildren, Andrew Bina and Andrea Poppe Solomon; five brothers, Laverne, Martin, Dean, and Raymond of Marion and Alan of Bangor, Pa.; five sisters, Mary Roniger of Burdick, Jane Johnson of Augusta, Connie Poppe of Oklahoma City, Rose Trapp of Kansas City, Mo., and Julie Kerbs of Tampa; and many nieces and nephews.

A rosary will be recited 7 p.m. today and services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday both at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church in Pilsen. Interment will follow at the Pilsen Cemetery.
