To the editor:

My family lived in Marion for over 25 years, raising our three children. I served on the city commission for 15 years, and understand how politics in small communities work.

We love Marion, and want the very best for the community and the people who live and work in the area. It is vitally important to have quality, honest individuals serving on the city council that have a sincere interest in the future of Marion, Kansas.

Darvin Markley meets these individual qualities, and I would encourage eligible voters to cast their vote for Darvin.
