Taryn Renee Mayfield and Derek Alan Burgan will marry June 7 in Wichita.

The bride-to-be is an alumna of Hillsboro High School and attended Brown Mackie Veterinary Technical School in Salina. She works at McPherson Veterinary Clinic.

Dale and Lisa Mayfield of Hillsboro are her parents, and Karon Hess of Marion and the late Don Hess and the late Don and Janice Mayfield are her grandparents.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of St. John High School and Kansas State University. He works at Midway Motors in McPherson.

Mike and Diane Burgan of St. John are his parents, and Gib and Kay Burgan of Moundridge and Allen and Arlene Pauls of Hutchinson are his grandparents.
