Nancy Scandone, 77, of Navarre, Fla., died April 29, 2013, in Pensacola, Fla. She was born in Marion, Kan., Oct. 19, 1935, to O.J. and Faye Allen.

Nancy attended elementary school in Marion and graduated from Marion High School.

In 1955, she married Frank Scandone. The couple lived in Fort Walton Beach, Fla., where they raised their four children.

She was predeceased by her parents and her brother, Fred Allen.

Survivors include her husband, Frank; three daughters, Patti Brewer of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., Joani Chase of Tallahassee, Fla., and Paula Scandone of New York, N.Y.; one son, Michal Scandone of Tallahassee. Fla.; five grandchildren and one great-grandson.

A Memorial Mass was held May 4 at St. Sylvester’s Catholic Church, Breeze, Fla.
