Lola Redger visited her son, Ray Redger, at his home in Newton. They were joined by the rest of her family for dinner on Nov. 22.
The Durham senior citizens met Nov. 28 at noon for a Thanksgiving meal that the board prepared and everyone brought the trimmings. Twenty-five people were present to listen to the speaker, Robert Carlton, CEO of Central Home Care.
The Morning Star youth served their annual friendship supper to a large group on Nov. 29 at the church. The supper was followed by a program.
Marcel and Wendy Unruh invited Cheryl Dirks, Roy and Nadine Davis, Clayton and Betty Wiebe, Jeff and Monica Ratzlaff and family, and Tim Davis for dinner on Dec. 2. They celebrated Tim’s birthday.
Harry and Sheryl Rhodes and Shelli Giesbrecht and Taylor took dinner to the Harry Wedel home Dec. 2 to enjoy with them.
Ransom and Lillian Wiebe were supper guest s of Harlan and Sherry Koehn.
