Clayton and Betty Wiebe went to Moundridge on May 3 to visit Henry Redger.
Nadine Davis went to Burns on May 4 for a ladies’ luncheon in honor of Geneva Koehn at the Community Building. Her daughters and daughters-in-law, who include LaVae Koehn from Durham, prepared the meal.
Rick Koehn and boys went to Burns to join the rest of the Roger and Geneva Koehn family at their home with other family members.
Ransom and Lillian Wiebe invited Larry and Wanda Koehn and Titus, Harry and Sheryle Rhodes, Jason and Sheri Wiebe and family, and Sheri’s parents Melvin and Elvera Penner of Alberta, Canada, over for supper.
Sarah Unruh was home from Kansas State University for the weekend. She spent part of May 4 and 5 attending commencement activities at Hesston College.
Tim Davis was a dinner guest May 5 of Roy and Nadine Davis.
Clayton and Betty Wiebe hosted a supper May 5 at their home for Nelson and Bev Wiebe and family, Travis and Sharon Koehn, Wayne and Loralee Wiebe and family, and Calvin and Janene Wiebe and family. Birthdays honored included Jacob Wiebe, Jaci and Logan Koehn, and Jaren Wiebe.
Roy and Nadine David honored LaVae Koehn with a birthday supper May 9 at their home. Rick and boys were also guests. Because of pleasant weather, they shared the meal outdoors.
Plans were changed on May 12 for Larry and Wanda Koehn, Travis and Sharon Koehn and family, Dalton and Lorna Wiebe and family, and Leonard and Dianne Peachy and Tyrel. Instead of a picnic, they went to the Larry Koehn home for dinner. It was cool with light rain at noon, but later the day turned out very nice.
Lillian Wiebe broke her leg May 9 while visiting Ken Wiebe at St. Francis Hospital in Wichita, where she became a patient, too. Clayton and Betty Wiebe went to visit Lillian and Ken on May 10.
Guests for a Mother’s Day dinner at Mark and Kris Wiebe’s home were Jason and Sheri Wiebe and family, Bryon and Rebecca Thomas and family, and Chet and Melissa Boehs and Kaylyn.
Wendell and Linda Wedel, Travis and Connie Becker and family, and Dean Becker ate out May 9 in Hutchinson in honor of Connie’s birthday.
Ron and Dora Unruh were guests for dinner May 12 at the home of Jim and Brenda Enns together with Darren and Corina Enns. That evening Mark and Barb Unruh and Nathan Unruh stopped by to see the Unruhs with wishes for a happy Mother’s Day.
Rick and LaVae Koehn and boys and Roy and Nadine Davis spent May 11 in Wichita visiting the zoo and a train museum.
Wendell and Linda Wedel had dinner with Linda’s mother, Naomi Mayeskea, on Mother’s Day at Moundridge Manor.
Titus Koehn and Chelsea Koehn will be married July 21, it was announced at Morning Star Church.
Clayton and Betty Wiebe were invited to the home of Calvin and Janene Wiebe on May 12. Other guests were the Wayne Wiebe family.
Rick and LaVae Koehn prepared Mother’s Day dinner for Roy and Nadine Davis and Roger and Geneva Koehn of Burns.
