O’Letta Mae Dover, 73, died April 15, 2013.

The memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 19, 2013, at Peabody Christian Church, 2nd and Sycamore, Peabody, Kan.

She was born on Sept. 25, 1939, in Smithville, Mo., to Elgin and Ada Humphrey. On July 2, 1956, she was married to Ted Dover.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Willis Humphrey.

Survivors include Jane and Mike Semrau, Jim and Doris Humphrey, Jack and Glenna Humphrey, and Jerry and Denise Humphrey.

Her children include Teddy and Sharon Dover, Terry and Joanna Dover, and Barbara Dover and her fiancé Dennis Dirlam. She was a grandmother of 15 and great-grandmother of 6.

Gardening and teaching preschool at Sunday school were just a few of her favorite things to do. Her career choices led her to work in a variety of retail settings and as a certified medication aide.

The family would like to especially thank Harden Hospice for their loving care and support.

She was an example of dedication, love, and loyalty that few can achieve.
