Domestic battery and possession of narcotics

Virginia Lind, Marion, reported that Janet Geren, 57, Marion, was a victim of domestic battery when a suspect allegedly grabbed and pushed her in a home on Eastmoor Dr. between 9 p.m. July 29 and 8:30 a.m. July 30. The suspect was found in a garage and in possession of prescription narcotics in an unlawful container. Kevin Green, 55, Marion, was jailed July 30 by Marion police on suspicion of domestic battery.

Interference with law enforcement; falsely reporting a crime

County attorney Courtney Boehm reported an individual interfered with law enforcement during an investigation in a government building between 10:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. Aug. 3.

Possession of marijuana; driving with a suspended license

An vehicle was stopped on US-56 between Jade and Kanza Rds. at 8:08 p.m. Aug. 7, and an individual was discovered to be in possession of one gram of marijuana, according to officer Randal Brazil’s report. Daisyanna Mitchell, 24, Wichita, was jailed by Hillsboro police Aug. 7 on suspicion of possession of marijuana and driving with a suspended license.
